It is known for its analgesic and antiseptic effects. Relieves pain, especially menstrual pain. Reduces sweating and improves mild bloating. In cosmetics, we will use it in preparations for oily and acne-prone skin. Its astringent effects can also be used in the care of signs of aging skin, i.e. wrinkles and sagging.

The herbal aroma with camphor undertones of this essential oil is associated with energetic cleansing. This perception goes back deep into history. Already in ancient Rome, medicinal sage was used in religious ceremonies to ward off evil forces. It is also used as a middle note in perfumery.
